Frequently Asked Questions
12V DC, wired into the vehicle’s electrical system. Installation instructions and the wiring diagram are included with every unit.
A wall-mounted switch is supplied as standard. A remote control is available as an option, specified at the time of order. Either way the awning opens and closes at one touch, with no need to leave the vehicle.
Yes. The light strip is integrated into the underside of the cassette and is specified when you order — it is not a part that can be added afterwards. It runs on the same supply as the motor and is switched separately, so you can leave the awning open with the light off.
No. The NQ602 has no wind sensor and does not retract automatically. Close it before leaving the vehicle and whenever wind or rain is picking up. Motorised operation makes this quick, but it still has to be your decision — treat the motor as a convenience, not as protection.
For automatic retraction, it would be made by adding optional sensor.
